Does the Sony MDR-ZX110NC Come With an Airplane Adapter?
Back to my Sony MDR-ZX110NC ownership story
Short answer: yes. Sony lists a plug adapter for in-flight use among the MDR-ZX110NC’s included items.
Does that guarantee it works on every airplane?
No. Sony’s operating instructions note that the supplied adapter may not be compatible with every in-flight entertainment service.
What plug is on the headphones themselves?
The headphones use an L-shaped gold-plated stereo mini plug. Sony lists the cord at about 3.94 feet (1.2 meters).
Why is this model still useful for travel?
The wired connection does not depend on Bluetooth pairing, and the active noise cancellation targets the kind of low-frequency engine noise commonly encountered in airplanes. If the AAA battery runs out, the headphones can still operate passively.
