Sony MDRZX110NC Headphones: Good Until They Simply Wore Out
I bought a pair of Sony MDRZX110NC noise-cancelling headphones in 2015.
My memory of them is uncomplicated: they were good headphones until they eventually became worn out.

The exact model in my Amazon history is the Sony MDRZX110NC.
My short version: I was satisfied with them. The reason I stopped using them was not some immediate defect. They simply got old and worn out.
Sometimes wearing out is the whole review
Not every product story needs a dramatic failure or a clever workaround.
I used these, liked them, and eventually reached the point where the physical wear caught up with the product.
That is a very different experience from buying something and regretting it quickly.
Questions people still ask about this exact model
- What battery does the MDR-ZX110NC use, and how long does it last?
- Do the headphones work without a battery?
- Do they cancel voices?
- Do they come with an airplane adapter?
- What plug do they use?
- Why does Sony list 220 ohms powered on and 45 ohms powered off?
Would I consider Sony headphones again?
Yes. My old pair gave me no reason to avoid the brand. I would compare whatever current model fit my needs rather than assume a 2015 model is still the one to buy today.
For audio gear I use more actively now, I have also had a good experience with my TONOR USB microphone.
