The Things I Bought is a place for straightforward notes from Michael about products I have actually bought, owned, used, or lived with.

Honest, ownership-based perspective

Some purchases turn out great. Some are merely decent. A few are mistakes. Long-term use and hindsight often reveal the details that matter, so negative and mixed experiences belong here too.

I would rather publish useful information about things I genuinely know than shallow reviews about products I have never seen.

An article may sometimes research and mention a current replacement, successor, alternative, or related product that I have not personally used. When that happens, I will make the distinction clear rather than present research as firsthand experience.

Products, prices, features, and availability can change over time, so current details should always be confirmed with the seller or manufacturer.

New articles will appear in Things I’ve Bought.
