Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder Review: Why I Use the Hose-End Sprayer Around My Yard
I have enough plants around my yard that feeding them one watering can at a time gets old.

Why the hose-end feeder makes sense for my yard
My plants are not all gathered in one little bed beside the faucet.
I have to move around.
A feeder attached to the hose lets me cover ground without repeatedly stopping to measure fertilizer into watering cans and carry them around the property.

I am not presenting that as a horticultural prescription. It is simply the routine that has worked for me.
My experience with the results
I have been happy with the amount of flowering and vegetable production I have gotten over the years.
There are obviously many variables involved: weather, soil, watering, plant choice, sunlight, pests and the gardener occasionally remembering to do what he is supposed to do.
So I would not credit one blue-green fertilizer crystal with every successful tomato or flower.
