The original replacement battery for the Dremel 7700 is the 7.2-volt 757-01 Ni-Cd pack. Genuine replacements can be hard to find. Lowe’s lists its original 757-01 as no longer sold there. That does not prove that every seller is out of stock, but it’s a reason to check carefully before spending money. This guide follows…
Use the low 10,000 RPM setting on a Dremel 7700 for dog nails, not the high 20,000 RPM setting. Dremel’s current pet-grooming guidance sets a maximum of 12,000 RPM. We bought a Hayward SP1592 Power-Flo Matrix when our old above-ground pool pump died. It was close to what we already knew, and it worked well until we no longer had the pool.
My ratcheting pruning shears worked well for a while and made cutting easier. Eventually they stopped being reliable enough to keep using.

I bought a Dremel 7700 cordless rotary tool for trimming dog nails. It worked for that job, and then I eventually ruined it by leaving it outside.
I bought the Oregon CS1500 in 2017 because gas chainsaws were more than I wanted to spend. Then I used it to cut up seven felled pine trees and hundreds of wood rounds. Here is what held up, what the PowerSharp system was really like, and what I learned.
I bought a 12-foot Buyplus gutter-cleaning wand and then a 7-foot LAANPOLE three days later because I wanted to stay off the roof. They moved some loose leaves, but neither solved the mess near my downspouts.
I believe I’ve ruined about three garden hose nozzles by leaving them outside through overnight freezes. They worked before the cold and sprayed water everywhere afterward. I finally changed the way I buy and store them.
My 2026 WilFiks stand-up weed puller does pull dandelions and roots without kneeling. The part that annoys me is getting the weed back out of the claws—I have literally carried a kitchen fork around the yard.
